Description - Visual Iowa
This is a replication of the Iowa Gambling Task, which demonstrates a cognitive impairment by patients with orbitoprefrontal damage.

- UnZip Iowa Gambling Task.zip
- launch the excel file (authorize macros)
NOTE ON MACROS SECURITY
If downloaded from my website, this program will be identical to the original version, that is without viruses! So you should be able to safely authorize macros, which are necessary for the program to function.
PARAMETERS OF THE PROGRAM
Parameters are stored in a separate sheet of the excel file and can be modified by the user. By Default, they are those of Bechara, Damasio, Damasio & Anderson (1994):
Desk A: good draw = + 100 euros, bad draw = -150 or -200 or -300 or -350 (each with a probability of 10%)
Desk B: good draw = +100 euros, bad draw = -1250 with a probability of 10%
Desk C: good draw = + 50 euros, bad draw = -25 or -50 or -75 (each with a probability of 17% [50% together])
Desk D: good draw = +50 euros, bad draw = -250 with a probability of 10%

Desk D: good draw = +50 euros, bad draw = -250 with a probability of 10%
